As a Field Operations Associate, you will be responsible for testing and
deploying technologies that will help shape the future of Google Maps.

You will mostly work independently in close coordination
with the global team to improve functionality in Maps and related Google

SUMMARY
The Technical Trainer plans, organizes, manages, and implements technical theory training & technical product training both in the field & at corporate office. He or she improves best-in-class services to the customer by developing and implementing advanced training programs for the service provider network and internal service and operations personnel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform technical training in the field and at corporate office as required.
Schedule all training classes with service providers as required.
Ensure all training equipment is properly prepared for shipment and delivered to each class.
Set-up prior to class and tear down post class.
Develop and utilize appropriate testing material for all technicians and all classes. This includes appropriate pre-testing to determine knowledge prior to the training and extensive post training testing to determine knowledge after training. Post training testing must be a combination of open ended questions, multiple choice, open book, closed book & hands-on.
Strict criteria must be adhered to for testing, including pass/fail.
Provide technician/service provider evaluations to the Sr. Service Manager so appropriate actions can be taken to address any issues, if necessary.
Assist the Technical Training Manager in the development and implementation of the technical training program. This would include but is not limited to:
Helping to develop a strategy to meet the technical training needs for the service and operations personnel and field technicians.
Development & implementation of a formal technical training program with multiple tiers and options.

Summary
A Field Service Technician applies electrical theory or related knowledge in testing and modifying operational electrical control circuitry and equipment and electrical machinery in commercial or industrial plants and customer locations. They perform various skilled, journey-level tasks in the construction, installation, maintenance, calibration, testing, and repair of electronic control systems and electrical systems, pumps and motors.
Duties and Responsibilities
Repairing and replacing defective parts in, motors, controllers, and pumping systems
Installing, maintaining, and repairing electromechanical, electrical, and electronic components of machinery and equipment, including transformers, and hydraulic and pneumatic devices.
Performing preventive repair and maintenance of field, plant, and shop electronic and electrical systems, devices, equipment and components.
Testing solid-state circuitry to find defective parts in digital and analog equipment and replacing defective parts.
Designing and modifying motor power control equipment circuits, reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics.
Preparing schedules and coordinating activities with other divisions and sections.
Planning and laying work orders or work from instructions, using sketches, blueprints, and drawings.
Making ensure that the accurate and appropriate completion of all preventive maintenance duties.
